Indoor Air Quality Assessments
Eronmor provides Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessments either as part of a property management requirement or in response to IAQ concerns that arise.
A wide range of IAQ parameters can be assessed depending on clients specific requirements.
If there are no specific IAQ concerns and a general assessment is requested, Eronmor recommends the following as a minimum,
- Relative Humidity
- Carbon Dioxide
- Particulate (PM 2.5)
- Total Volatile Organic Compounds
- Total Airborne Mould (non culture)
Depending on the client and site, we also may include one or more of the following,
- Carbon Monoxide
The minimum amount of areas to be tested should always be representative but is ultimately determined by a client’s needs and budget.
Indoor Pollution Source Investigation
In order to identify sources of indoor air pollution, Eronmor provides comprehensive investigation services.
With a sound knowledge of building science and pollutant pathways, Eronmor effectively locates the source of indoor pollutants including odours.
As well as identifying the source of indoor pollutants, Eronmor is also able to determine why the pollutant is present as well as provide advice how to prevent re-occurrence.
Continous IAQ Monitoring Systems
Eronmor can provide continuous IAQ monitoring systems that provide 24/7 IAQ days.
Either portable or fixed location sensor units are strategically placed throughout the building and record IAQ parameters at preset intervals during the day (and night if required). The recorded data is sent wirelessly.
The system will automatically send alerts for when IAQ is not ideal in a location so that the issue can be addressed as soon as it occurs.
Base IAQ parameters monitored include;
- Relative Humidty
- Carbon Dioxide
- Volatile Organic Compounds
- Particles (2.5 & 10 microns)
The continuous IAQ monitoring system is only available on a term contract (3 or 5 years).
